The mission statement of the Neutral Ground Supervised Visitation Program is to provide supervised visitation for non-custodial parents in an atmosphere promoting safe, positive, and productive interactions between children and parents.
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR SUPERVISED VISITATION:
The Supervised Visitation Program must have documentation from Family Court in order to provide supervised visits. The judge must specify in the visitation order that Family Connections/ Child Care Council is the designated spot where visits are to take place.
THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT OUR SUPERVISED VISITATION PROGRAM:
Our primary focus is to ensure the safety of all children and their family members.
We provide staff who observes and records what occurs during the visit between the non-custodial parent and their child.
Staff encourages the non-custodial parent and their child to develop positive interactions.
Staff help empower parents to learn new and effective parenting and co-parenting skills.
