Infant-Toddler Assistance Project
The Child Care Council has an Infant-Toddler Technical Assistance Center that works throughout the Clinton, Franklin, Essex counties. This is a project of the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. It is a statewide initiative aimed at supporting high quality infant and toddler care. The network consists of 14 counties and includes two infant/toddler specialists, who deliver training, technical assistance, and resources on caring for infants and toddlers. The goals of the network is to make available information on best practices for infants and toddlers, promote and facilitate specialized training in infant and toddler care, to work with providers as they develop new opportunities for infant and toddler care, and to serve as a resource in promoting an understanding of improving the quality of care offered to infants and toddlers
